Checking for New Versions of Oxygen XML Author

Oxygen XML Author checks for new versions automatically at start up. To disable this check, open the Preferences dialog box (Options > Preferences), go to Global, and uncheck Automatic Version Checking.

To check for new versions manually, go to Help > Check for New Versions.
