External Processes

The Memory available to the built-in FOP option controls the amount of memory allocated to generate PDF output with the built-in Apache FOP processor. If Oxygen XML Developer plugin throws an Out Of Memory error, open the Preferences dialog box, go to XML > XSLT-FO-XQuery > FO Processors, and increase the value of the Memory available to the built-in FOP option.

For external XSL-FO processors, XSLT processors, and external tools, the maximum value of the allocated memory is set in the command line of the tool using the -Xmx parameter set to the Java virtual machine.
