Configuring a Microsoft SQL Server Connection

To configure the support for a Microsoft SQL Server database, follow this procedure:

1. Download the appropriate MS SQL JDBC driver from the Microsoft website: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/connect/jdbc/release-notes-for-the-jdbc-driver?view=sql-server-ver16#102.
2. Configure MS SQL Server Data Source drivers.
3. Configure a MS SQL Server Connection.
4. To view your connection, go to the Data Source Explorer view (if the view is not displayed, it can be opened by selecting it from the Window > Show View menu) or switch to the Database perspective.
